This morning I was driving the boys to chess club. Dean and Reed had finally worked out a compromise on who gets the brown seat and who gets the blue seat (Reed gets the blue seat, Dean gets to check the mail). I was explaining to Dean what a compromise is exactly and Reed interrupts with:
"Never put a nail in a pipe, or hit it with a hammer. Cuz when you wash your hands goosh goes the water." A pause then: "Or a boat. The wood will break and then the boat will sink especially a row boat".
So I said "Anything else I need to know about nails?". "No, I don't think so" was the reply.
And so with Powell funny of the morning we all can learn something very valuable!
