I came home yesterday and my son Dean told me that I had received a special offer from Acura of Seattle. Working in the auto industry I knew that it was a mailer that is what you and I would call "junk mail" and that they were only mailing us because I worked at the dealership and had our Toyota serviced there. I did not act all that interested - as I wasn't. Dean however was excited to tell me all about the mailer.
He said (from memory), "Dad, Acura of Seattle really wants Mom's Toyota Sienna. The card said that they will pay you 110% of Kelly Blue Book value and that they need our used car to sell."
You should've heard how the mailer had excited Dean and that the offer had worked for an eight year old. I am not sure what that says about mailer?
On a different note...anyone else looking to have the election ads, news coverage and so forth done with? Let's vote already and move on to the next chapter of our lives.

Simple pleasures are the best! Ah, the innocence of youth...
Dean and Reed make my proud (oh, and you and Lise too of course)
Adam, the KBB logo hardly counts as adding pictures to your blog.
Anyway, funny story. I can see Dean saying it word for word. He probably can figure out what 110% equals out to be in his head as well.
I'd say that sounds like a pretty good deal. Maybe you should trade in your vehicle, lucky duck.
