Alone at home...I am needing to make sure a few bills are paid, but I thought I would ramble instead. Perhaps a little reflecting.
A few weeks ago a friend of mine passed away. She was 39 years-old, left behind three children and husband. My calling in the ward blessed me with an opportunity to be a little more involved and experience events that bring me to reflection often. It is odd to express how I view these recent events. Not that I don't understand what death means (most likely not 100%), but more on how relationships with others is in a constant state of change.
For the most part this "state" is healthy. I've known Deb (who passed) and her family for nearly nine years (something like that) and find it "odd" (there's that word again) to think of the events that have recently come to pass. I am sure that this is mild compared to what her family are experiencing. I know I am not making sense and perhaps this is not the best place to express - ahhh!
These thoughts are on my mind tonight because my wife and boys are camping with other families in the Cascades. This is the first family camping trip and I am not there. The house is empty and I don't think I've said a word in hours (does singing aloud to my playlist.com selection count?). Lise and the boys will be back Thursday evening so we can enjoy the forth together. Since we no longer live in un-incorporated King County we are taking over a friend's house in the county. They've been very kind to allow us to invite dozens of friends and family over while we blow-up 1k in fireworks!
I am looking forward to the upcoming weeks. If I understand correctly Bridgette will be in town tomorrow, Laura in a two weeks and a BYU-UW football game with the Frerichs - though I think this is in September! I also hope to host Melissa, Nate and their families again. Anyone else coming to the Seattle area? Who is looking for an invite...you've got one!
Alone is something I don't want...I don't want to be alone.

Hey Adam How are you doing. Hope all is well with your family. Just wanted to give you my blog Address. www.mkclowards.blogspot.com. Just so you know this is Kim Powell or Kim Cloward now. Talk to you soon.
Adam, where were you when I called to get advice on buying a car? David told me you were the only one to call. Well, we did it anyway, and after a few minor repairs, it is running like a top. And this morning on its way from Vancouver, WA to Logan, UT. Can you believe it, the Weiss Family moving from the NW? I love the music on your site. The pictures are great. I am going to pass the link on to the fam.
Take care,
Dad Weiss
Adam, we all love a good visit to the Powell's house. You'll never be alone. I, too, am EXCITED to see you....now it's just 3 days away! GO BYU!!!
Adam, this is Allison (Davey) Harris. I found your blog in a very roundabout way! It's too long a chain to list here, but I was basically led to Janyse's blog and she had all of the old Redmond Gang on her blog. Glad to know I have a place to come to from time to time to catch up on your cute family. Say hello to Lise for me!
My blog address is aliboop.blogspot.com
Smoke signals would be cool, but I'm not proficient in using them as a communication device yet....How about e-mail?
myaliboop@hotmail.com
